Our Staff

Mr Martin Hawrylak is an Executive Headteacher of three schools within the Trust as well as a qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator. He currently leads Finchingfield St John the Baptist and Stisted Primary Academy as well as St Andrew's CE Primary School, Marks Tey. Martin Hawrylak has over 20 years of leadership experience of working in small village schools. He is an experienced head teacher, former Accounting Officer, Company Secretary, and former director for Stisted Primary Academy Trust. 

Mr Keith Birbeck is the Head of School, who has over 12 years experience teaching in both Key Stage 1 and 2. Keith Birbeck has taught in a range of settings in his career, from small village schools to large through schools abroad. Keith Birbeck was the Deputy Head and taught for 5 years at St Andrew's Primary Academy before taking on the Head of School role in September 2023 to assist the Executive Headteacher with the day to day running of the school. 

The Headteacher and Head of School are ably supported by Mrs Jayne Crowley, an outstanding practitioner, who has also worked in Education for over 25 years and has vast experience of teaching children in Key Stage 2. She is the English subject lead and a keen reader.
